The murhaayatko is a percussion instrument derived from the tawse.
This tool is based on Tawse. It is a strip of leather which is frayed at one end and has a handle fitted with metal studs at the other.
Murhaayatko is handmade in the Czech Republic from high-quality materials based on Bugshop’s own original design and is available in three colours.
Murhaaya made this implement for me a few years ago. It was based on the design of a classic tawse, which he adapted so that it could be used not only as a riding crop but also as a small paddle. I was so taken with this implement that I decided to make it available to Bugshop customers as well.
