Safety carabiner

This carabiner is designed for situations where there is a risk of losing consciousness whilst in a vertical position (for example, when secured to a cross) and the subsequent complications involved in removing an unconscious partner. This product will be particularly appreciated by women, who would find it very difficult to lower and unclip a significantly larger partner in this situation using standard carabiners, which require the restrained person to be lifted in order to be released. The carabiner features a safety catch on its body; sliding this catch releases the carabiner, making it easy to open with one hand.

The carabiner is not designed to support a person’s full weight.
